WORDS MEAN
A great deal to me, if they are from a friend, a loved one or a lost one...I love the poet in us all, it gives me a chance to unfurl the imagination and feel free again. Click here for a brief journey through words

MUSIC MEANS
A lot to me too...having coped with the awkwardness of school badly, I found refuge in music. People describe the music I listen to as depressing, and I suppose it is depressing if you are in a good mood, but if you feel down, it is nice to realise you are not alone, get into the song, find solace in the words. I wouldn't call it depressing, I would call it mellow. I used to like nothing more than sitting in a field on a summers night, with 20 Marlies, my walkman quietly playing as I blew smoke at the stars and thought about how life works. BABYLON 5
Probably the best thing to have come out of America in a long time, B5 is a unique piece of work, created by J Michael Straczynski, and for the most part written by him too, it charts a 5 year story in space, revolving about a space station (Babylon 5) and it's multicultural occupants. The stories are powerful, the acting excellent and the underlying themes and plots all fit beautifully together. There are no good guys or bad guys, just people who believe themselves to be right and nothing happens to undermine your belief in the characters. Click here for a taster of Babylon 5
